Sporting Kansas City’s newest Homegrown Player is set for international duty once again.
Defender Jaylin Lindsey, who signed a Homegrown contract with Sporting KC on Thursday, will join the U.S. U-17 Men’s National Team for a six-day training camp at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida from Sept. 19-24.
The camp will consist of 23 players and serve as head coach John Hackworth’s final opportunity to assess U-17 player pool before deciding on a final 21-man roster for the FIFA U-17 World Cup, which runs from Oct. 6-28 in India.
The upcoming camp marks the fourth domestic gathering for the U-17 MNT since they qualified for the World Cup at the CONCACAF U-17 Championship in May.
