While the soccer world is on an international break and the senior United States Women’s National Team were busy taking care of Scotland this week, the 2018 U-17 Women’s World Cup is in full swing in Uruguay. It’s easy to lose track of all the soccer going on in the world since the youth national teams play a World Cup every two years instead of every four, but it’s a great primer for the full USWNT going to France in 2019 to defend their title.
The U-17 USWNT is already one game into their group stage and are off to a hot start with a 3-0 win over Cameroon.
