Another valiant effort, but this time Sporting KC II were rewarded with their first points of the season after a late mistake was punished with a swift counter attack from Wilson Harris to win their first match in nearly ten months by a score of 2-1.
Sporting KC II made five changes from Saturday’s loss to Lou City, as former St. Mary’s College (Moraga, California) goalkeeper Remi Prieur made his SKC II debut while Danny Barbir, Duval Wapiwo, Jaret Townsend, and Dominik Resetar all got their first starts with the club.
Sporting II grabbed the early lead in the eighth minute through Dominik Resetar after he pounced on the chance revived by the hustle of Jaret Townsend.
