CONCACAF announced today that the federations tournament, the Gold Cup will be returning to Kansas City this summer. The federation announced all sites that will be hosting games for this summer’s tournament, and for the fourth time, Kansas City will be a host.
Children’s Mercy Park has hosted a Gold Cup double header in 2011, 2015, and 2019. It will be the first time that Kansas City will host back to back tournaments having previously not hosted in 2013 and 2017.
Kansas City’s previous three times hosting has seen the US men’s national team be one of the teams play in the double header at Children’s Mercy Park.
