The New England Revolution made a trade with the Columbus Crew to bring Krisztian Nemeth back to MLS, the Revolution paid the Crew $400,000 in allocation money, a fee that Kansas City was not willing to match for the Hungarian striker. Elsewhere, Luis Gil left Orlando after less than a season on loan, moving in a last minute deal from Orlando City to the Colorado Rapids along with allocation money for Dillon Powers.
