Today FC Kansas City traveled to Lawrence, Kansas for their third 2016 preseason game. The Blues got off to an early lead with a goal from Shea Groom in the 7th minute. Shortly after, in the 16th minute, Erika Tymrak was able to send another ball into the back into the net with a sliding goal. The final goal of the game came once again from Shea Groom after a breakaway run in the 63rd minute.
There were a few notable injuries during the game for the Blues. Alex Arlitt, the fullback who has been impressive thus far in preseason, came off towards the middle of the first half with what appeared to be a hamstring injury.
