Today at the Stanley H. Durwood Soccer Stadium at the University of Missouri – Kansas City the FC Kansas City Blues took on the UMKC Roos in their first preseason game that ultimately ended in a 7-0 victory for the 2015 NWSL Champions. Most of the players who took the field for the Blues, especially in the first half of the game, were either not on the roster in 2015, or had very little playing time during the 2015 season.
Scoring started in the 12th minute when Kaysie Clark was able to make it past the opposing goalkeeper thanks to an assist from forward Tiffany McCarty.
