Sporting KC Homegrown players Erik Palmer-Brown and Daniel Salloi have returned to Kansas City after completing loan spells in Europe. Palmer-Brown was a regular at center back for Portuguese giants FC Porto’s B team, while Salloi spent the last six months in his native Hungary with Gyirmot SE.
Palmer-Brown, who became Sporting KC’s third Homegrown signing in 2013, made 17 league appearances across the year for FC Porto B after making his debut against Desportivo Aves on March 9. The 19-year-old made 11 appearances in the tail end of the 2015-16 season, culminating in a LigaPro title – FC Porto B’s first league championship.
