No team in the USL's Western Conference was better than the Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 in the first half of the season. Through the club's first 15 games, WFC2 amassed 29 points (8-2-5) and sat in first place.
In the second half of the season, no Western Conference team earned more points than the Swope Park Rangers. In the club's final 15 games, SPR picked up 28 points (8-3-4) and climbed nine spots in the standings.
On Saturday, the two teams will meet at 7:30 p.m. CT at Swope Soccer Village in the Western Conference Final for a chance to lift the conference's championship trophy and earn a berth in the 2016 USL Cup Final.
