The Kansas City Comets cruised to their second win on the season after a convincing 10-4 win at The Family Arena in St. Charles, Missouri over the St. Louis Ambush.
The most notable absence for the Comets was that of Alain Matingou, who missed through an apparent hamstring injury, which he picked up in the later stages of last week’s game loss to the St. Louis Ambush.
Antonio Manfut scored his second goal of the season with 7:54 left in the first quarter to put Ambush up 1-0 after a pretty even start. Clayton Matheus followed it up when he placed the ball between the legs of Brett Petricek with 5:35 left in the opening period to give the Ambush a 2-0 advantage.
