The Kansas City Comets earned a needed win Sunday night when they beat rival Baltimore Blast 5-1 to improve their record to 4-3. Both the Blast and Comets had played the night before; Baltimore beat Florida and then flew in Sunday. The Comets had lost at Cedar Rapids and drove back over night to arrive in Kansas City very early Sunday.
Improved Performance
The win was a good bounce back from the loss the night before for Kansas City. While the score in Cedar Rapids was close, the Comets did not start well and took too long to get going.
