Comets Advance to the Eastern Conference Championship

The Missouri Comets advanced to the Eastern Conference Championship after eliminating the Milwaukee Wave in an 8-2 victory. For the second consecutive season, the Comets will face the Baltimore Blast for the Eastern Conference Championship title.

Early into the first quarter, the Comets earned an early lead when team captain and league leader Vahid Assadpour scored his first goal of the playoffs. The Wave soon answered back when Max Ferdinand clipped one straight into the back of the net. Continuing the Comets dominance, John Sosa and Max Touloute answered Ferdinand’s goal with back-to-back goals, increasing the Comets lead 3-1.
