Aurelien Collin was a fixture in the Sporting Kansas City back line from the time he joined the club in 2011 until he was traded away after the 2014 season. The Frenchman made 107 appearances for Sporting in MLS play over his four seasons and was MVP of MLS Cup 2013, scoring the tying goal and what proved to be the winning PK in the shootout. After being traded to Orlando City for inaugural season, Collin was traded again, this time to the New York Red Bulls in 2015. The trade meant that went Orlando came to Children’s Mercy Park in 2016,it was after Collin had departed the club.
