It’s the slow point of the year in terms of playing time for many players around the world. In the US all the outdoor leagues are in their offseason. Indoor soccer is ongoing, but with the Christmas holiday there aren’t a lot of games going on. Internationally, many countries have started their winter break. For former Sporting Kansas City players, that limits the number of players playing games. Only three players, Yann Songo’o at Plymouth Argyle, Soni Mustivar at Neftchi Baku in Azerbaijan, and Sydney Miramontez, played this weekend in outdoor games around the world.
