Welcome to Across State Lines, the new former Sporing Kansas City player update. It will now no longer just be for former Sporting players around the world. I will now also be including all former academy players playing professionally, whether they made the first team or not (players like Ray Lee who will be playing with Pittsburgh in the USL next season). I will also be including players that are from Kansas City but did not play for the Sporting academy, both male and female, so I will be including the likes of Ray Saari who played for the Seattle Sounders 2 last season as well as female players like Shea Groom whose rights were just traded by the Utah Royals to Sky Blue FC.
