As the secondary transfer window for MLS teams winds town, clubs are not only looking to add players from abroad, but also looking to add some depth from the USA’s lower divisions. Former Swope Park Rangers’ player, Mark Segbers is returning to MLS having joined Los Angeles Football Club on loan from Memphis 901 FC for the rest of the season. Segbers had previously played in MLS with the New England Revolution and played with the Rangers’ last season.
Elsewhere, most of the European leagues were on a break for international play, where former Sporting Kansas City player Nicolas Hasler appeared for Liechtenstein in both of their UEFA Nations League games against Luxembourg and Gibraltar where they split the results with Hasler scoring a goal in their 2-1 win over Luxembourg.
