The international break ended this past week for teams outside the Euros and Copa America, and one former Sporting Kansas City player personally had a fairly good break with his country. Soony Saad scored two goals this past week for Lebanon in World Cup qualifiers against Turkmenistan and South Korea. Saad scored in both of those games, scoring Lebanon’s second goal against Turkmenistan to give them a 2-1 lead before they fell 3-2. Against South Korea, Saad gave Lebanon an early 1-0 lead before Korea came back to win 2-1. Here’s the rest of this week’s update.
