The European seasons are beginning to really start to kick off again, and with it, a few former players are with new teams for the coming season. Former Sporting Kansas City midfielder and winning PK scorer in the 2015 US Open Cup Jordi Quintilla has moved from St. Gallen to FC Basel in Switzerland. Quintilla had been captaining St. Gallen but moves to one of the powers in Swiss soccer, Basel, though they haven’t won a league championship since 2016-2017. Another former Sporting KC player moving to a new club in Europe is Igor Juliao.
