US Soccer announced a young team for March’s FIFA international break, and included in that roster was the youngest player to ever play in a game for Sporting Kansas City, former homegrown player, Erik Palmer-Brown. Now playing in Belgium with KV Kortrijk on loan from Manchester City, Palmer-Brown has earned his first senior call up for the US national team’s friendly on Tuesday the 27th in Cary, North Carolina. Palmer-Brown has made just one appearance so far for Kortrijk, but it considered to be a bright prospect for the US national team as they head towards 2022 World Cup qualifying.
