It’s the time of year where MLS teams that have been eliminated from the MLS Cup playoffs make their announcements for what players’ options were picked up and what players’ options were declined heading into the offseason. A couple of KC natives, Nick Besler and Jon Kempin all had their options picked up by their club. Meanwhile Servando Carrasco, Kevin Ellis, Yura Movsisyan, and Tony Rocha all had their options declined. Three other players, Andrew Dykstra, Benny Feilhaber, and Kei Kamara all are out of contract.
