Former Kansas City head coach, Curt Onalfo has a new job in MLS. Following the hiring of Bruce Arena as the head coach and sporting director of the New England Revolution, Onalfo was named the Revolution’s new technical director this past week. This will be the fourth MLS club Onalfo has worked for following stints with KC, DC United, and the LA Galaxy. Onalfo has struggled as a head coach with the three, but did find success in the USL with the Galaxy’s second team.
Also this week, former Sporting Kansas City and Swope Park Rangers forward, Kris Tyrpak earned himself USL Championship player of the week for a hattrick in the Austin Bold’s 3-2 win over Tulsa.
