Former Sporting Kansas City HomeGrown Player, Wan Kuzain has himself a new club in the USL Championship. It was announced yesterday that the Carbondale, Illinois native had signed with Rio Grande Valley FC for the 2020 USL Championship season. Kuzain, who had been on a first team contract with Sporting since the 2018 season had not played a game for the first team since the 2018 season but had regularly been on the bench for the first team in 2020 as they dealt with injuries and COVID isolations.
When he signed in 2018, Kuzain became the first player to go from the academy to the Swope Park Rangers/Sporting KC II to the first team.
