Another international break is here for leagues around the world, but one former Sporting Kansas City player looks like he won’t be going on international duty. Kei Kamara, now with the Vancouver Whitecaps had been called up by the Sierra Leone national team for their African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Ghana during this break. Unfortunately the Sierra Leone federation was suspended by FIFA for government interference and the government did not meet a deadline to reinstate the ousted president, so now the game on Thursday will not take place. The return leg in Freetown, Sierra Leone is also in doubt because of the decision today.
