CONCACAF 2021 edition of the Gold Cup kicks off this coming weekend, including in Kansas City where the United States, Canada, Martinique, and Haiti will compete in five games over the next week. It is a homecoming for Kansas City born Nicholas Gioacchini as he was named to the US roster for the tournament. Joining him in Kansas City will be a familiar face to Sporting Kansas City fans, as former Sporting and Swope Park Ranger/Sporting KC II player Tyler Pasher has been named to Canada’s roster for the tournament. Pasher has had a successful season for the Houston Dynamo having returned to MLS scoring three goals and adding three assists in the eight games he’s played in this season.
