It appears that whatever form the rest of a potential MLS season takes, Orlando City will be competing without Dom Dwyer. The second leading scorer in Sporting Kansas City history left the MLS is Back Tournament bubble to get an MRI on his knee. This past week the former US international had arthroscopic surgery on his knee to repair a partial patella tendon tear. Dwyer will miss four to six months recovering from the surgery, which should rule him out for the rest of the MLS season.
Elsewhere, former Sporting midfielder, Kevin Oliveira has a new club as he’s joined Doxa Katokopias, who play in the top division in Cyprus.
