Sunil Chhetri has had a very good career for the Indian national team, appearing 102 times now after he’d played in the Intercontinental Cup in India against Kenya, New Zealand, and Chinese Taipei. Chhetri scored eight goals in the tournament, including two in the final against Kenya to give him 64 for his career. The 64 goals tie him with Lionel Messi for the second most international goals all time for a player currently active. Both Chhetri and Messi trail Cristiano Ronaldo among active players. Both Messi and Ronaldo will have a chance to add to their total in the World Cup this summer.
