Day 2 of the 2021 MLB Draft was loaded with Mississippi talent.
Seven players from Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Southern Miss were picked between the second and 10th rounds of the 2021 MLB Draft Monday. Additionally, two high school recruits committed to Mississippi State came off the board in the early rounds, bringing into question whether they will end up on campus.

Ole Miss left-handed pitcher Doug Nikhazy was the first Mississippi product off the board Monday. He was taken by the Cleveland Indians with the 56th pick, making him the second Ole Miss pitcher picked after right-hander Gunnar Hoglund was picked in Sunday's first round.
