Southern Miss football fell again Saturday, losing to North Texas 38-14 in Hattisburg for its seventh consecutive loss this season.
The Golden Eagles opened strong, with Jake Lange hitting Jason Brownlee for a touchdown and Jay Stanley returning an interception 55 yards for a score.
From there, though, it was all Mean Green as North Texas scored 38 unanswered points.
USM fell to 1-8, 0-5 in Conference USA play. North Texas improved to 3-6, 2-3 CUSA.
