Former Southern Miss wide receiver Tim Jones signed a free agent deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars after going undrafted in last week's NFL Draft.
A 6-foot-1, 203-pound pass catcher from Biloxi, Jones was a key cog in Southern Miss' passing attack over the last three seasons. He caught 145 passes for 1,890 yards and eight touchdowns since 2018, ranking second on the Golden Eagles all three seasons.
Injuries limited Jones in 2020 after a breakout start to his final season, where he had 30 receptions for 480 yards and four touchdowns in six games.
