Southern Miss' loss to Western Kentucky was filled with turnovers and key injuries Saturday.
Despite the 28-10 defeat on Senior Day, the Golden Eagles (7-4, 5-2 Conference USA) still have a chance to win their division in Conference USA.
"As players and coaches we got to go to work this week and have a better day next Saturday," Southern Miss coach Jay Hopson said.
Here are three takeaways from Saturday's loss.
The injury to Jack Abraham
Quarterback Jack Abraham recorded his 16th 200-yard passing game in his 20-game USM career, but went down with an injury midway through the fourth quarter.
