HATTIESBURG – Louisiana Tech is a familiar foe for Southern Miss, but even more so for the guy who might start at quarterback.
The Golden Eagles and Bulldogs have squared off 49 times since the first meeting on Nov. 28, 1935, with Southern Miss holding a 34-15 in the series.
They’ve played each of the last seven years since Tech joined Conference USA, and with Southern Miss winning five of those, including 34-27 overtime win in Ruston last season.
