STARKVILLE – Mississippi State went to the transfer portal for another quarterback. This one doesn't have far to move.
Former Southern Miss quarterback Jack Abraham announced via Twitter Friday night he will suit up for Mike Leach at Mississippi State next season.
"Ready to get to work! #HailState" Abram said in his tweet.
Abraham, an Oxford High School product, played in five games this season as he battled a hamstring injury. He completed 97-of -49 passes (65.1%) for 1,224 yards with seven touchdowns and four interceptions.
As a junior in 2019, Abraham completed 275-of-405 passes (67.
