Southern Miss' game at UTEP on Saturday has been postponed because of an undisclosed amount of positive COVID-19 tests for the Golden Eagles.
Both institutions are working with Conference USA on a rescheduled date.
This marks the second consecutive week that USM has had a football game has been postponened because of COVID-19. Last week's matchup against Florida Atlantic was canceled moved because of FAU's positive tests.
"The health and safety of everyone involved continues to be our guiding force which made this decision to postpone the game the appropriate one," Southern Miss athletic director Jeremy McClain said.
