Southern Miss began its fall football camp on Wednesday morning, becoming one of the first Division I colleges in the southeast to return to full-speed practice after a spring and summer that was drastically altered by the COVID-19 pandemic.
If you ask senior quarterback Jack Abraham, everything felt pretty normal from sideline to sideline. Coming off the field is when the differences started to feel a little more noticeable.
"Nothing about the actual football side of things is different," Abraham told reporters on an after-practice Zoom call Wednesday.
