Southern Miss started its third different combination of offensive linemen in last week’s win over Texas-San Antonio — the fifth game of the season.
After more than a month of shuffling for one reason or another, the Golden Eagles believe they’ve found the right code for success.
“Yeah, we probably cracked it,” redshirt sophomore Ty Pollard said.
First, Jay Hopson’s team went with Drake Dorbeck, Arvin Fletcher, Devin Farrior, Jerry Harris and Ty Pollard in that order from left to right. But Dorbeck’s arm injury in the season opener meant Harris had to slide over to left tackle.
