Southern Miss baseball will be out to score another elimination game victory and advance to the College World Series when it takes on Tennessee in Game 3 of the Hattiesburg Super Regional on Monday.
The Golden Eagles had a mixed day on Sunday, nailing down a victory on the first game of the super regional that had been suspended on Saturday night. With Tanner Hall on the mound in Game 2, Southern Miss could not close out a place in Omaha despite getting out to a quick four-run lead.
USM (46-19) will hand the ball to Niko Mazza in what amounts to one of the biggest games in program history.
