Catcher Chuckie Robinson became the 21st Southern Miss baseball product to reach the big leagues on Thursday, when he was called up by the Cincinnati Reds.
The Reds take on the Cubs in Major League Baseball's Field of Dreams Game in Dyersville, Iowa, on Thursday night at 6:00 CT.
Robinson played at Southern Miss for three seasons beginning in 2014.
During his time with the Golden Eagles, he appeared in 116 games, hitting .259 with a .718 OPS and 10 home runs. The Houston Astros drafted him in the 21st round of the 2016 MLB Draft.
