The NCAA will release today its finding on the Southern Miss' men's basketball infractions case, and one report says former coach Donnie Tyndall is going to be hit hard.
CBSSports.com's Gary Parrish is reporting that Tyndall will receive a 10-year show-cause for his involvement.
The school and Tyndall were accused of multiple violations, including seven Level I (the most serious). It includes fraudulent academic credit, impermissible financial aid and obstruction of the NCAA's investigation. Southern Miss has laid most of the blame on Tyndall, who was the coach for two seasons from 2012-14 before leaving to take the job at Tennessee.
