OXFORD — If the NFL held the 2020 Draft in 2019, Joe Burrow might not have been picked.
Of course, the NFL doesn't hold its drafts a year in advance. That's why the reigning Heisman Trophy winner went No. 1 overall to the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night instead of waiting to hear his name called on Saturday as many thought he would've been doing at this time a year ago.
Still, it's always fun to look ahead to which players might end up being NFL Draft darlings at this time next year. In that spirit, here are a handful of players from Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Southern Miss who the Clarion Ledger believes might be names to watch in the 2021 NFL Draft.
