HATTIESBURG - Nick Mullens set many goals upon his arrival at Southern Miss three years ago.
One of them was being invited to the Manning Passing Academy, an annual four-day camp put on by NFL greats Archie, Peyton and Eli Manning held at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana.
Cross that one off the list. The Golden Eagles' senior spent last week as one of 38 current college quarterbacks to assist at the camp. In addition, the three-year starter got a chance to show off his skills. He and Michigan’s John O’Korn were named co-winners of the Air It Out Quarterback Challenge.
