HATTIESBURG - The postseason accolades continue to roll in for the Southern Miss football team.
After leading Southern Miss to the Conference USA championship game as West Division Champions and a Heart of Dallas Bowl appearance, junior quarterback Nick Mullens earned C-USA Offensive Player of the Year honors Wednesday, while head coach Todd Monken garnered the league's Coach of the Year award.
The awards were based on voting by the league’s 13 head coaches.
Mullens was named the Offensive Player of the Year after helping the Golden Eagles become the most improved program in the FBS.
