Southern Miss football will be looking to score a monumental upset when it travels to Hard Rock Stadium to take on No. 15 Miami on Saturday (11 a.m. CT, ACC Network).
The Golden Eagles fell in heartbreaking fashion in their first game of the season, losing to Liberty, 29-27, in four overtimes. Southern Miss turned the ball over five times in that contest, and allowed a game-tying touchdown drive with less than two minutes remaining.
Southern Miss (0-1) will have to be much more careful with the football against Mario Cristobal's Hurricanes (1-0), who unleashed a 70-13 thrashing of FCS program Bethune-Cookman in their first game under the new head coach.
