The Southern Mississippi baseball team is scheduled to make the trip to face the Rice Owls in a Conference USA series from Friday, April 30 to Sunday, May 2.
Southern Miss, ranked No. 22 in the USA Today Baseball Coaches Poll, enters the series 26-13 overall and 13-6 in CUSA. Most recently, Western Kentucky beat USM 9-4 on April 25.
The Rice Owls come into the series 17-23-1 overall and 5-14-1 in CUSA. On April 25, UTSA beat Rice 12-4.
Entering Friday, Rice leads the all-time series 29-22 vs. Southern Miss.
