Tyree Griffin drilled a long 3-pointer with one second left on the clock to give Southern Miss a huge 63-60 road win over Charlotte Thursday night.
After Charlotte's Jon Davis scored back-to-back buckets to tie the game at 60 with 1:15 left, Southern Miss got a key defensive stop with 15 seconds left to set up the game-winner.
Griffin tried to juke his man by faking the drive, stepped back and launched a 21-footer that caught nothing but the bottom of the net.
