A former Southern Miss linebacker was hospitalized and isolated this weekend in Florida.
On March 11, Dylan Reda got sick while he was in the Czech Republic, where he plays professional football for the Prague Lions. In a social media post, he said he rides a lot of public transportation over there.
"One night after practice, I got home and it just hit me like a ton of bricks out of nowhere," Reda, 28, said.
He caught a fever and began sweating. His body began aching. He lost taste. The symptoms came and went for five days.
