Southern Miss' Hunter Stanley was selected by the Cleveland Indians with the No. 336 pick in Round 11 of the 2021 MLB Draft.
Transitioning from a bullpen position to a full-time starter in his COVID-19 senior season, Stanley struck out 127 with a 2.56 ERA on his way to a Second Team All-America selection.
The 6-foot right-hander went 6-4 on the season, utilizing his extra year at Southern Miss to find himself just outside Baseball America's top 250 players.
His impressive senior season earned him the Southern Miss Male Student-Athlete of the Year sward and should help him find a place in the big leagues.
