NORMAL, Ill. -- Elijah Clarance and William Tinsley combined for 29 points off the bench and Illinois State turned back Southern Illinois 76-68 in overtime on Thursday night.
Clarance hit 9 of 11 free throws and scored 15 with four rebounds and four assists, while Tinsley added 14 points on 4-of-7 shooting from 3-point range for the Redbirds (14-11, 8-5 Missouri Valley Conference), who won for the fourth straight time and split the season series with the Salukis (16-10, 8-5).
