West Ham 2-3 Southampton: Visitors win their first Premier League match in SEVEN in five-goal thriller thanks to Jan Bednarek's header - as David Moyes' side top-four hopes are dented

West Ham's top-four hopes took a blow on Boxing Day after suffering a disappointing 3-2 home defeat by Southampton.

Centre back Jan Bednarek was the matchwinner for Southampton in a match that ebbed and flowed.

Saints took the lead twice before being pegged back on both occasions but the hosts had no answer to Bednarek's 70th-minute decisive goal.
