Freeview has warned TV users across the UK that they could lose their favourite channels due to unseasonably warm weather.
The warm October temperatures are affecting reception across some parts of the country, leaving some Freeview users unable to watch their preferred programmes.
Although viewers may be tempted to retune their Freeview box, the provider has warned people against doing so.
Freeview said on its website: 'This is due to high pressure which could disrupt the TV signals which Freeview uses.
'You are advised not to retune your TV during this time - reception will be restored once the high pressure passes'.
