Charlton have signed defender Thierry Small following his transfer deadline day release by Southampton.
At the age of 16 years and 176 days, Small became Everton's youngest ever player in 2021 before Saints won the race for his signature that summer.
The 19-year-old left-back has agreed a deal until the end of the season, with a club option of an additional year.
"I'm excited and optimistic for the future now," Small told the Addicks website.
Small played just 45 minutes for the Saints first team, in February 2022, and had loan spells with Port Vale and St Mirren last season, returning to the latter this campaign and appearing five times in the SPL.
